Lindsay Lohan hasn’t even moved into her multimillion-dollar pad in the tony West Hollywood condo community of Sierra Towers, but her future neighbors are already complaining — loudly — about her presence in the quiet building.
“We’ve always had celebrity residents, but all of them either lead quieter lives or are barely ever here,” one resident tells LifeandStylemag.com. "Everyone thinks she'll be having parties, and I'm sure she will. Beyond the noise factor, it's a security issue. Look at the type of and number of people she hangs out with. We don't want them roaming the building."
Ouch!
Just recently, Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie were there for a photo op, says the resident, and paparazzi swarmed the place, jamming the street in front.
"We fear that’s what will greet us every day if Lindsay moves in," says the insider.
Compounding the issue is Linds’ age: At 20, she’s much younger than the other condo owners at Sierra Towers, “sixty percent [of whom] are easily over 60,” says the resident.
The building management says the reason Lindsay likes her future home, Cher’s residence, too, is because it’s quiet — she wants the privacy. But to the tenants, Lindsay’s reputation precedes her.
“This is not going to end well,” says the resident. “Mark my words, she’ll be made miserable by the complaints and leave. Hopefully she won’t move in at all.”
Her rep was not immediately available for comment.
Poor Linds! Can’t someone give the girl a break?

Wouldn't it just be easier for her to move into a house of her own? If you're going to have complainers around you it's not going to make anything pleasent, then again me being 20 as well I'd just move in to bug them now. She's paying for her own place. They're the ones that chose to live in a building with more then one family and that's there problem.

I am a Sierra Towers resident and can say without doubt, that the "source" for this statement about Lindsay is completely off base and crazy. I am sure it is one of our elderly residents that never made anything of her life and resents those of us who have made it to the top of our fields. I can also tell you that I speak for most of my neighbors when I say that the younger hipper residents (a.k.a. Lindsay, Matthew, Cher,etc...) are far less trouble than the few bitter old residents that remain in the building but are quickly dying off. And by the way, there are less than 60% of our residents older than 60. And many of our older residents are nice, quite, and very friendly people. There are of course one or two exceptions as is the case in any building. Your "source" is mostly likely the woman that we all refer to as the "Wicked Witch". She truly is evil and needs professional help. Most of our residents are in there 20s,30s, and 40s, are industry types, have plenty of disposal income, and are far too important to deal with the daily routine issues that the complaining resident fills her days with in a perpetual attempt to attrack attention and gain some sort of sick sense of self-worth. Lindsay, welcome to the neighborhood. We are proud to have you call Sierra Towers home!

I too am a Sierra Tower resident. I am a female in my 20s and enjoy living at Sierra Towers. We have the best staff of any building in Los Angeles. I always feel safe and welcome in my home. I feel very sorry for the person who has made this comment about Lindsay, she obviously has some issues. Furthermore, I am sure that the person who has made this comment speaks for herself only. None of my neighbors have ever even mentioned Lindsay presence. Lindsay, I too welcome you to the neighborhood.

Another Sierra Tower resident here. Lindsay, welcome to the building. Pay no attention to the negative comments of one obviously unhappy person. If in fact it was truly a Sierra Tower resident who made any negative comments about you to the tabs, then they don't belong here anyway. There are other buildings that are probably more appropriate that person. The rest of us would be happy to help them pack!

My name is Ronald Richards. I am the secretary for the Sierra Towers HOA and a four year board member. I am speaking for myself. I find the claims by the annonymous resident dubious and groundless. We welcome all owners. To suggest someone is being pre-judged is untrue. I have personally spoken with Lindsay and she is welcome in the building as is anyone who buys here and respects the rules and the great environment we have. We have many young people who enjoy their units. There is no age or gender bias in this building and anyone who buys in here is a welcome member of the community. To post annonymous comments is shameful.If the person can't put their name behind them, it speaks volumes for their credibility and their pull in this building. As a resident of Sierra Towers for more than 5 years, and the primary realtor in the building, I can tell you that this comment by the annonymous resident is not at all indicative of the environment here at Sierra Towers. I agree with Ron Richards. If such a comment truly came from a Sierra Tower resident, it lacks any credibility and does not at all mirror the feelings of the rest of us in the building. As a Realtor, I have had the opportunity to work with many of the residents of Sierra Towers and KNOW for a fact that this is NOT the feeling that permeates through the majority of people in the building. Even the older residents are young at heart and live in this dimension. Only people who have lost their zest for life would be so bitter to make unsubstantiated claims against another owner. It's jealousy that made this person make that statement because they don't even have the strength to live vicariously through Lindsay. You go, Lindsay, happy homecoming!
